Health Transformation Stories
Evoke Strong was initially created in 2017 by Elaine Dusetzina as a platform to share health transformation stories, as she experienced her personal health transformation by making changes in her lifestyle.
Elaine wanted to share her story with the hope it sparks another to tune in to their physical and mental well-being.  As selfless women, our innate nature is to take care of others’ needs more than our own.  Unfortunately, our health and well-being suffers from a lack of self-care.
The good news is it’s never too late to make a change!  Our bodies and minds have an incredible capacity to bounce back.
Elaine’s story is just one example.  She knew other women are open to share their amazing health transformation stories.  And this is how Evoke Strong started.  To bring inspiration to other women who desires a lifestyle change.  That it’s possible to take charge of our health and achieve incredible transformations.
Be inspired by the stories of these amazing women and their health transformations.  We hope their shared experiences will awaken the strength in you to take charge of your health.

Kelly Nentwich never imagined to be healthier than she’s ever been at age 50! Almost 20 years ago, in her 30s she was diagnosed with 2 autoimmune diseases and bedridden most days. Her doctors told her that her only options were multiple medications and because there isn’t any cure, she would have to prepare herself for disability since it would only get worse as she got older.

Fast forward to today, almost 20 years later – she went from struggling to get out of bed to now competing in various endurance races – 5/10ks, half marathons, triathlons, 50-mi bike races. She hasn’t taken a prescription medication in 12 years and she rarely gets sick. Amazing!

Kelly is a Certified Health Coach, Speaker, and Entrepreneur – the founder and owner of Prep4Health/Thrive4Mom. However, her most important job is mom to three amazing humans!

Kelly is on a mission to educate and inspire other women to take back their health after successfully changing her own health as well as her family’s health. With 12 years of education and real world experience, Kelly is equipped with extensive knowledge in nutrition, holistic wellness and preventative health. She draws on these skills and knowledge when she works with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

Her business focuses on helping women over 45 enter the next phase of their life, feeling their absolute best by changing their diet and lifestyle. Our society puts a lot of negative labels on women in their midlife and she is here to change that. She likes to say, “this ain’t your mama’s midlife!”

With the goal of empowering women, Kelly’s business has grown to also include mentoring other women in the health and wellness field.

When she’s not passionately creating change in her community you can find her enjoying yoga, hiking, running, biking and cooking. She enjoys these activities with her amazing husband of 26 years and their three adult children.

At the age of 4, Christina was abandoned by her mother which left her with emotional and body-image issues for decades. When Christina was in her 30s, her mother passed and she became depressed. She gained 70 pounds in a few months from taking antidepressants.

After seven years of obesity, confusion, and emotional as well as physical pain, Christina made the decision to take control of her weight in 2009. She began with an elimination diet, which made her aware of how food was causing many of her physical symptoms. With a healed leaky gut and 86 pounds lost, she realized the power of food as medicine and its potential to heal her mental health issues so she can get off the endless cycle of drugs.

With her background as a fitness instructor, she naturally moved into becoming a personal trainer. In her experience training clients, she discovered that underlying emotional issues made weight loss and healthy habits more complicated than just a simple solution of diet and exercise. One day, Christina did an exercise she had given to a client, where she looked in the mirror and spoke loving words to herself. There, she realized the root of her own issues lay in her unhealed childhood trauma. Thus began her journey of emotional healing and spiritual evolution.
