I understand as I’ve been there. I transitioned out of the military and became a stay-at-home mom/military spouse. It took time to adjust, but my kids’ needs became front and center. Until one day, I got my wake-up call. Sitting in the exam room, I listened to my doctor review the results of a routine blood test. I was shocked to find out I was on the road to prediabetes if I continued to live the way I did. I knew I had to do something to improve my health. It didn’t happen overnight but I started to take small steps to implement a healthy routine.
A healthy lifestyle routine that led me to be well and stay well.
